Kingsdown Manor is proudly owned by Rochelle Castle-Wilson and her family who live on this very special property.
"We were all born and bred in Southland, which is famed for its hospitality. We've brought that emphasis with us to South Canterbury and offer a warm welcome to visitors and some true "southern hospitality". We hope to be able to share it with you soon."
Onsite we have Morphuis & Ashley , two cats, Briar the Jack Russell and Gus the Springer Spaniel. All are very friendly and the two dogs live outside.
Coming from a farming and crayfishing background Rochelle loves to entertain and open her home to people. She has many and varied interests, loves music and sings in the local "In Harmony" choir and as an individual. An avid horse enthuiast having competed in all discliplines over the last three decades and enjoying a near lifetime involvement in the hunting fraternity ..
Two teenagers in the house , there is never a dull moment! Stevie (17)and Ben(14) both attend local schools, Stevie in year 13 and Ben in year 10. They too enjoy music with both playing the drums and Stevie singing as well. They are both very sporty children and look forward to sharing their knowledge of the local area and attractions with you.
