The following suites are available:

The Egyptian Room - King with ensuite - Egyptian theme - Guest lounge

The Nautical Room - Queen with ensuite - Nautical theme - Guest lounge

The Loft - Two rooms: bedroom and lounge - Queen, plus single in lounge, plus private bathroom

Further accommodation is available at selected properties in Timaru city.

Recreation Options

If your group would like to take a break during the function for some "rest and recreation", just leave it to us. Kingsdown manor has plenty of activities available through selected operators, including:

Terms and Conditions

1. Confirmation
   Written confirmation of a function is required to make a reservation.
   
   
2. Cancellation
   Cancellation of a function within 24 hours prior to its commencement will result in the full charge of the function being billed to the client. Cancellation within 14 days will result in loss of deposit (10% deposit may be transferred at Kingsdown Manor's discretion), and the full amount of unrecoverable costs incurred by Kingsdown Manor in organising the client's function will be billed to the client. Cancellation of a function must be received in writing.
   
   
3. Definitions
   'Client' means party, agent, company or individual contracting Kingsdown Manor, subject to the reservation agreement. 'Function' means a conference, meeting, event, incentive etc.
   
   
4. Deposit
   A non-refundable deposit amounting to 10% of the total cost of the function is required 14 days prior to the function taking place, unless credit agreement has been arranged with Kingsdown Manor.
   
   
5. Payment
   Full payment for the function shall be made prior to the function taking place, unless credit agreement has been arranged with Kingsdown Manor.
   
   
6. Number Attending
   Kingsdown Manor requires written confirmation of numbers attending a function seven days prior to the function taking place. Kingsdown Manor may charge clients on the basis of numbers attending the function if they are less than originally confirmed.
   
   
7. Frustration
   If, for any reason beyond Kingsdown Manor's control, Kingsdown Manor is unable to perform its obligations it can cancel this agreement and refund the deposit to the client. Kingsdown Manor is not liable for damages caused as a result of cancellation. Kingsdown Manor reserves the right to substitute plant and equipment.
   
   
8. Indemnity
   The client indemnifies Kingsdown Manor against all costs, charges and expenses which may be incurred by Kingsdown Manor due to any person suffering injury or property loss at or during a function, except where such loss occurs as a result of negligence by Kingsdown Manor, where Kingsdown Manor knew or should have known of the danger.
   
   
9. Damage to the Venue
   The client will be responsible for all damage to Kingsdown Manor and its facilities caused by persons in attendance.
   
   
10. Agency
    If the organiser is not the client, the organiser warrants that it has authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the client.
    
    
11. New Zealand Law
    This agreement is governed by New Zealand law.
