Bridal Package : Wedding Coordination Service
Kingsdown Manor offers your a unique country setting that is perfect for those small to medium size intimate weddings and family celebrations. An exciting "all weather" alternative for those wanting a venue with everything on site.
We want to work with you to create a unique and memorable wedding. Choosing The Manor, with its romantic setting and very special facilities, as your venue is a perfect start.
Your ceremony is at the heart of your wedding day and we can offer two picturesque locations. The Manor has been built around a former Anglican chapel, (circa 1906), which is perfect for traditional weddings. The stained glass windows and wonderful woodwork make for a lovely setting as you enter to the melody of your own choice using the stereo system provided or the resident piano.
If a wedding with a difference is what you require, such as a medieval style ceremony or a theme of your choice then Kingsdown Manor is the place for you. The chapel can accommodate up to 85 seated guests.
For a more informal wedding, enjoy the majestic water feature and magical surroundings in our landscaped, very private and sheltered courtyard, or alternatively our newly developed romantic garden area while you experience the panoramic views of the Hunter Hills as you sip champagne and enjoy canapes!
The ceremony can be performed by your choice of Minister, Pastor, Priest or Celebrant or by our resident Celebrant if required.
Throughout the grounds there are many wonderful photo opportunities for both formal and informal photographs. The Pacific Ocean is less than 2km away and provides a wonderful backdrop also for those treasured photographs.
The courtyard is, of course, also perfect for receptions. We have a superb BBQ area here, along with full bar facilities. You can dine al fresco, with the added allure at night of our fairy lights, and in cooler months the courtyard is warmed by patio heaters.
We also offer our splendid Erroldale Reception Room, which has full bar facilities, an excellent dancing area and can seat up to 100 guests. Its gentle hues and lodge like surroundings, with its spectacular chandiliers make it a truly unique space to dance the night away.
To complete our wedding package, Kingsdown Manor also has three exclusive and luxurious rooms with private facilities (two ensuite). Brides are welcome to use one of our suites to prepare for their weddings, and the rooms are also available for accommodating guests, or the honeymoon couple.
The Lodge inspired guest lounge, with its huge open fire and leather settees provide a lovely backdrop for those special pre wedding photos and is perfect to enjoy a glass of champagne to calm those last minute nerves .
Various packages are available ranging from use of the chapel or outdoor areas only to complete use of the facility using all areas including the Erroldale Room and overnight accommodation. We can tailor make your package to suit your budget or specific needs.

Food & Wine
We are a fully licensed facility and are pleased to be able to offer a range of local and New Zealand wines, a range of beers and an excellent selection of non-alcoholic beverages. A beverage list is available on request.
All the catering is done onsite by our qualified chef and his team. A range of menu options is available and we look forward to working with you to create something really special and memorable to celebrate your day.

The stately building, the range of modern, sophisticated facilities and our friendly, personal service and dedication can assure you of the wedding of your dreams. There are, however, many things to consider when planning the perfect celebration.
You may wish to be at the centre of the planning - we will happily work in close consultation with you throughout the process. You may, however, prefer to simply give us a brief and leave the details to us.
